you normally wouldnt ... i think I did it to rev it up for the hell/sound of it, I really like the sound of the boral exchaust. So that in mind I wouldnt be concerned about the stillen box/z tube combo on the auto as I never had any issues with it in D. Had it on for about 2 years.

I hace the Stillen CAI and the same thing happens to me. I've learned to live with it. It vexes me that the aftermarket companies don't do enough research before putting out their products.

This happened to me a few times on my turbo cars when I was boosting hard and then just let go. Try not to just slam in the clutch after WOT. Maybe downshift or start braking a bit.

Steering wheel doesn't lock up. There was no power to the steering wheel and that's why u get that kind of hard steering.

I have Z-Tube and drop-in K&N air filter... no problem so far and sometimes I do drive hard.

I think it's the filter/intake. I guess the Z tube is ok as long as you don't mess with the filter/intake? I may go that route as long as no one else is having problems with this setup.

ive searched for this topic but coudn't find anything too clear.

thanks guys
I got two words for you: stillen CAI. I had one - had the same problem. Got rid of it - problem gone. K&N gives the same power gains (meaning marginal), I'm very happy with it.
