tire life? and cost?

hey everyone,
i was just wondering how much miles can i expect to get out of the 2005 19in tires, and also how much would it be to replace them?

my friend was saying you gotta replace every 5000 miles..but i don't believe him...

thanks!

depends how u drive, prob longer than 5k, but u cant rotate them due to the offset and the camber really wears em down. rears will wear down a lot faster than teh fronts too.

supposed to be like 300-400 a pice to replace says infiniti.

Order them from roadwaywholesaletire.com. Cheaper than even tirerack.
I'd expect about 15k miles from the tires.

You can choose to replace with whatever tire you want
The Michelin PSs are good but not worth the price

I replace my rears with Dunlop DZ101s which were less than half the price of the Michelins and they are still decent tires

thanks for the replies, now i got it. 15000 miles seems reasonable for performance tires.

wtf....where are you getting those numbers from, 5k on tires, no way. unless u drive hard. daily driving you should get at least 15 to 20k on performance tires.

Expect 15000. I am at 12000 so far and I have driven a little sporty now and again. 5000 is about right for the fronts if you cannot take the road noise!

Get an alignment, the car somes with too much toe-in. Then you
can probably get about 25k on the front, 15k on the rears. just replace
the rear twice while you replace the front once.

the S03's that im using is about 1/2 worn at about 7k miles....so expecting another
6-k miles before swapping the rear next spring. The front is only about maybe
1/4 worn if not less.

Believe it or not, I have almost 34,000 miles on my car with the Michelin PS tires that came with the car. There is still a lot of tread left. Granted, I don't drive hard, and 75% of my miles are highway miles. But I think that the Michelins are the best performance tires out there.
