Grounding Points?

Hi all. I posted this in the DIY and didn't get one response I am going to post it here hoping to get at least one response that is worthwhiled. Here is the orginal POST

Hi all. Ok, first I looked everywhere and for whatever reasons, I can't find not one detailed instruction on all the grounding location on the G35 Coupe. I bought the Apex'i Ground Stabilizer and it is a universal one. So, there are no instructions on the locations. Does anyone have some detailed instructions? I'm sure I can find maybe 4 or 5 locations but I've heard there are like 7-10 locations? Any help would be much appreciated.

Of course, once I get it installed, I'll let everyone know how it feels (if anything) on the my 2005 G35 6MT Coupe. Don't think anyone tried the Apex'i yet but I only heard good things about Apex'i. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks.

You have a grounding kit then? If so, thanks a bunch! I mean, geez it is like pulling teeth just for some decent pix of this stuff! Thanks again! Once everything is up and running, I guess I'll let everyone know if the damn APEX'i box is even going to make a difference. It basically helps when you are running things like heaters, defrosters, A/C, etc. So, I'll let you guys know.

This thread is 17 years old, I don't imagine the OP will respond.

What exactly is it you're looking for?

So it WILL run on starting fluid? If so it's a fuel delivery problem, can you hear the pump prime when you turn the key to ON? It also might not be building enough actual fuel pressure, you can test it by adding a fuel sandwich adapter like this one from Z1 Motorsports.

Should be 51psi of fuel pressure.

The fact that she cranks with fluid is great news!

Flood the thing with spray fluid and see whether it runs a bit, or have someone spray it while you start it.

If so, you need to check the fuel system.
As said.. check power to the fuel pump and pressure at fuel rails. And don't forget the fuel filter.

6MT there's two plugs on the transmission, PNP switch and reverse/backup switch. I think they're both grey or black.

5AT there's two harnesses, the newer one has a single large dark grey plug, the older one has two green plugs and one black plug.

Weird, I thought the only plugs on that part of the harness was the two downstream O2 sensors and the two sensors on the transmission. Is this other plug down at the end with the PNP and backup switch plugs?
