I'm at the gas station pumping gas for my g and an old lady around her sixties comes up to me smiling.

old lady: Hello, may I ask what kind of car this is?
me: An Infiniti
old lady: Excuse me? What kind of car is it?
me: It's an Infiniti g35 (as I point to the Infiniti letters on the rear).
old lady: No, I don't think you understand me (looking at the letters).
What kind of car?
me: I'm not sure I understand your question.
old lady: Is it a Pontiac, Ford....
me: It's an Infiniti
old lady: (Laughing at me with a frustrated look) That's not what I mean.
me: Well it's not an American car, but Infiniti is based off of Nissan...
old lady: So is it a Nissan?
me: No it isn't. It's just like saying how Lexus is based of a Toyota.
old lady: So what kind of car is it? What car manufacturer makes this?
me: (Starting to get frustrated) It's an Infiniti. If you like

old lady: (Looking at me weird)No no. (Laughing) Nevermind. What other
cars do they make?
me: They also make suv's, the M, and other passenger vehicles.
old lady: How much are these going for?
me: I believe base price is above 30 grand.
old lady: Well I saw one of these at the airport the other day and I like
the way they looked.
me: Yeah they're pretty sweet.

She finally walks off. That was just a complete awkward experience as other people listen to our conversation. Maybe I am missing something, but I know that I know my own car especially when I bought it at an INFINITI dealer. DoH! Just something to share...
