Did a search and didn't come up with much. My third brake light is out and needs to be replaced. I know it's leds and not a bulb, but can I replace it my self or do I need to take it to the dealer?? I have a coupe with no spoiler so it's the light in the rear window.

 

You are still most likely under warranty, have the dealer do it...

 

Definitely, mine on my '04 wasn't working, they had to replace the entire unit under warranty, it's not bulbs, it's LED.

 

yeah, thanks guys - I called the dealer to see how much it was and they wanted $140 for the led unit - after talking with the service manager I got it covered under the warranty. It's getting done Thurs.
