in the mornings when i take my car out i get to a stop sign and 1 out of 5 times after stoping at the stop sign and pressing the gas i get no respose from the car, the RPM goes up to 2500 but the car does not move at all and suddenly just jerks and takes off. i have been so close in getting into a accident numerous times thats why i really need your help i took it to the dealer and they told me everythng was OK. and its a 04 coupe 5AT.

A few questions, do you have an intake, if so what kind, and lastly, do you remember damaging the MAF sensor if you or someone else installed it? The MAF sensor sounds like the culprit, it may have been damaged by installation or from the oiled filter elements that are popularly used.

if it is the MAF sensor how can i clean it.

if it was damaged wouldent i get a chack engine or have that happen all the time?
