DEALER BS IN Virginia
I went to Charles barker infiniti on 6/13/03 they check my credit I had a pre approval letter in my hand , and put a deposit down for a CB coupe with leather and a moon roof. I never heard from the dealer, called the salesman on 7/2 he's says your car has been order.
I asked him for my order # they didn’t have it, so I called back 7/8 and made up a name said I was dealing with another dealership and gave them the details of my deal (Charles barker). He started to run his mouth saying that the dealer probably didn’t order my car or they sold my slot.
I called back to talk to my salesmen and the sales manager answered the phone instead, and he finally says that it will be an August order (yeah now he tells me).That sounds like horse SHi* to me and he said that I could have my deposit back but their office closed at five but I could pick it up tomorrow.
He didn’t even attempt to locate a cb coupe with a moon roof for me. I called Nissan and filed a complaint.
Is there anything that can be done?

Unbelievable!
That totally sucks...what a bunch of lyers! I hope your complaints have an effect and take away some of their aoolocation. These kinds of things should not happen at a luxury dealerships. Definately take your business elsewhere if you can, and since you know exactly what you want, deal directly with the sales and/or fleet/internet manager to order your car.

This is what State Attorney General's do. Contact their consumer fraud bureau. I'd also contact your state office of consumer affairs and file a complaint.
