Took delivery without manual.... Anybody know where to check one out? It has been an experimental time since I took delivery. I've got to be missing some cool [censored]...

 

it's a policy by Infiniti to give you a copy of the manual...you should go back and they should give you one for free...if not, complain on the feedback form they send you, and I'm sure they'll go out of their way to to send you one.

They usually come in two places.
1- In a box that had the CD holder (leather) in there with it, sometimes in the trunk.

2- Dealer placed it in your hand or glove box when you picked the car up.

Merlin.

 

You should get this rather large Infiniti flat box containing the manual, service log, CD holder/case, and a key chain. If you didn't, your dealer is ripping you off so he can keep the goods himself. Complain to the dealer and Infiniti HQ.

 

Talked to my local dealer in Baltimore last week, and he said that he had not received ANY manuals ... something about them being caught up in the LA port problem (?). I suggested that most manufactures always have the manuals either sitting on the front seats or in the glovebox. He said that all he had was the pizza box with the other stuff, but hadn't gotten any manuals for the 3 c's he's received.

 

Got my coupe in B-more and said he did'nt have a manual? What the F$#@! Great job dumb ***. And now they got my lease wrong and I have to drive back down (from PA) to re-sign. Whats up with that? If anyone from INFINITI is reading this please contact me.

 

You dealing with Timonium Infinity? I also am up in Pa, York to be exact. Sucks that there are no Infinity dealers around York, Harrisburg, etc and that I have to hike 35+ miles to even see the thing. Fortunately it's on my way to/from work, so not that out-of-the-way. Have done all my talking with Les.

I'm still trying to decide if I can fit in the thing or not. I think you must'va gotten the DG that was originally scheduled to be purchased by some guy for his 17 yr old kid, but backed out because the old man really needed a car and couldn't wait (or some lame story)? I was at the dealer the afternoon after you took it out - Les was showing me the red w/nav and told me about somebody buying the DG earlier that day ... and then the DG was driven past me as it was about to be prep'd. Was that your car? And how do you "really" like it now that you've had it for the past month?
