Re: Rear diffusers

RaySur350GT, You've got me wondering now if I'm missing 2 pieces that go behind the rear wheels, toward the back corners . I checked under my car and it seems there is a place on both sides to mount something, but can't tell how big. My dealer had me convinced that I had all I needed. Seems he was wrong.
If you can take a pic that would be nice, or I'll have to wait for RR's answer from Grubbs.......l8r

Re: Rear diffusers

That's true it sucks. I didn't even test drive a single G35 before I bought my car. They didn't let anyone test drive them unless you are gonna buy it right there.
I just knew how it felt b/c I drove my friend's 350Z many times before.

I ordered mine without Aero and it is 6MT. I can tell you this, my car didn't have any of the diffusers. I had to install them myself once I received it. I'll take some pics to show you where they are.

- Don't argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.=P-

Re: Rear diffusers

Ideally, if you don't like the spoiler, you should order your car with an aero package, and then ask the dealer to swap out the trunk for the one without the spoiler. Since the diffusers, from what I understand, are installed at the factory, you would end up with the diffusers . Anyway, how much of an improvement do you get from these diffusers? Is it even worth getting them?

Re: Rear diffusers

well, if you do that Zorro, then you will be wasting about $400... diffusers are nice to have... for bragging sake, also if you go +130mph then you will probably notice a difference, haha

Got a call this morning that they just came in. That fukin pisses me off. I bet they were hoping i'd forget or something stupid like that. "Yah wat a coincedence they just came in one day after you called and complain about it."

Re: Rear diffusers

I've just talked to my parts guy here in Brantford, to explain that there are 2 more substantial pieces that go farther back behind the wheels close to the rear corners of the trunk. Apparantly he now has the proper Infiniti parts catalogues and will get the 2 missing parts in for me.
RR, from what I was told b4 there are several more pieces that are small and insignificant. Not worth the effort or the dough. I'm expecting the 2 remaining pieces for my Coupe to be somewhere around $75 including hardware, for a total of about $150 Canadian. This converts to somewhere around 100 to 110 US + shipping. Thought you'd like to know.
