Honking, opened the sunroof and pointed for him to pull over...then I got in front of his truck and forced him over to the side of the road (we were gong ~40). I was pizzed.

I starting to see the optimistic side of this situation. New wheels, new hood, new side sills (rockers)... ...the aftermarket can be your friend in this time of mourning.

I was hit by a guy when I had my previous car (97 Mustang V6). I took the car to one of those rape-you-in-the-a$$ dealers that always overcharge you, ESPECIALLY when they know insurance is paying for it. Then I got insurance to cut me a check rather than pay the dealer directly to fix it.

I purchased an aftermarket front bumper and hood, took it to a shop I always have my work done at (much much cheaper and much more dependable guys), and had $$$ left over after it was all said and done.

If you're creative (though not ILLEGAL), you could really come out going "that sucked but man, wait an opportunity".

And without a KISS, as well.

Hey, at least you're okay and should have no difficulties in fixing your G, other than the time it takes.

wow, how unlucky to have that happend before break-in even ends. i would tell the company that only a stillen hood (with the stillen sc under it) will make your car complete!

I am getting pissed just by looking at the pics, i can certainly understand what you are going through. But, i would definetly agree with the rest atleast it's a good thing that you are not hurt. As far as your ride goes fixing the hood would be a piece of cake..so don't feel bad. Beside this is a perfect oppurtunity for you to upgrade them rims or you can allways contact rim repair shops matter of fact, some of them will come to your place & get them fixed rite away. Anyways all the best.

LOL at all the replies. I contacted trucking company and they are going to pay for the damage....I just need to send them 2 estimates. They did give me some heartache at first but once I sent them pitures showing pieces of brick still stuck in the rim they changed their tune. I doubt I will modify the car with the settlement....I have been down that road with a previous car and have little desire to do it again (never ends).

Smile South Jersey/Philly

Hey Forced, are you in south Jersey, near Deptford area?
Sorry to hear about the incident with the truck.
I just bought on Sept 9th, a 2005 G35 6MT Black/Stone leather/Aero/Sirius from Flemington dealer in Jersey.
I live in Washington township, perhaps we will see each other on the road around Philly. I commute and work in Moorestown, NJ.
Will post pictures of my car shortly, she is a Beauty!
Hello to everyone here as well.
