BREAK, SLIP and VDC OFF lights on ???
today was the second time this has occured to me in the past week. It was around 70 outside i went started my car stood in it for about 1-2 min and took of then i notice my BREAK, SLIP and VDC OFF lights remained on. So i drove for about 3 4 miles and the first time some idiot cut me off and i had to jump on the break the BREAK light went away. So then i stopped at a light turned the car off turned it back on and the SLIP and VDC OFF lights went away

Simply adding brake fluid is a bad idea. The reason your brake fluid is low is because your brake pads and or discs are worn and your calipers have compressed. The displaced area is now occupied by more brake fluid from your resevoir.
Rather than waiting a few weeks, I would also suggest you address the situation now.

j/k
out of curiosity at what milage do people usially change the break pads for the first time? is 30K too soon ... or is it normal?
Hey Blue,
The clicking noise is a lose bearing on your rear axle. There is a recall on those .. so you can go to the dealer and get it fixed ... Good luck

What has coolant loss got to do with brakes
Firstly if your coolant is burning off then yes you would have a problem if the car is fitted with a radiator expansion bottle. The water expands into the bottle during high heat conditions and is then sucked back on cool down.
Secondly, The correlation between worn pads and low fluid is highly likely unless there is a leak in the hydraulic system which is a worse senario.
TM I don't want to appear rude but unless you understand the basics of the mechanical operation of a motor vehicle then you should not play Devil's advocate and confuse the issue.

so the BRAKE light means low brake fluid?
yesterday i had that flash.. VDC was on.. i was driving around in the rain.. i had the brake down (not e-brake) and went through a little bend... SHould've caused ABS to go on.. and the BRAKE light went on.. when i first noticed it i checked the e-brake.. it wasnt enguaged..
i was like hm..
so i took another corner with my foot on the brake.. BRAKE light went on again.. but it goes off as soon as i let off the brake.. pretty much ABS + turn = BRAKE light.. it only did that when it was wet tho..
any comments?

C.
the dealer told me they didnt have the parts to replace teh bearings and although i specifically asked for a replacement, they just reoiled it... what can i do now? (they say they are backordered although i know they just got a new shipment)
i plan on calling and yelling at them when the clicking comes back. i want to have it click before i bitch them out so they can see that the problem is reoccurring.
is the lemon law possible for the clicking?
