Any G35 races lately???

Recieving mine in a week, and cant wait to break-it-in and race it.
Just wondering if anyone out there has raced anything lately!!!

Please share your experience, win or loss it doesn't matter.

Wondering what the car is capable of pulling off thats all.
Pics, and video would be nice

Re: Any G35 races lately???

Up here in Ontario the weather's put a serious crimp in our racing escapades lately. We're pretty well winterized and patiently waiting for spring. Enjoy your new G and the sun wherever you are and think of us poor so-and-so's up here freezing our little a$$es off. Later

Re: Any G35 races lately???

How about a chase.........this guy in a E46 M3 (current model) was impressed with the G35C's pulling power at mid-range. He thought it was going to be a lot easier chasing down the G35C on the freeway, but actually found it more difficult. He said that during the chase, it felt like his M3 only had a few ponies more over the GC (rather than 53). I would have to attribute this to the G's motor design, somewhat of a classic V6 where Hp mirrors Torque resulting in excellent low and mid-range performance. As for the M3, its motor resembles that of an S2000 with its high compression ratio and peak Hp at 7900rpms....offering better high-end. I can only imagine what a turbo'd G35C is capable of....

If Infiniti/Nissan recognizes or carries NISMO products, I wonder if they'll also embrase NISMO's turbo package???

Re: Any G35 races lately???

I raced an AMG, Corvette, Rosche Mustang, Viper, and a few other slower cars and raped them as well.

But ofcourse that was not in my G35c. The point being there is always a faster car :-)

AMGs are sure nice tho. :-)

Re: Any G35 races lately???

This wasn't a race but I let my co-worker drive my 6MT coupe and he let me drive his '01 chipped S4 6sp. Plain and simple the Audi walked the G pretty easily. I asked him if he was getting on it and he said he was. We had lunch, I got back in my car, he is his and same thing happened. He was impressed with the G coupe (esp considering the price) but it's not like we're gonna be eating Vettes, Mustang Cobra's and new M3's. For the money though the combo of looks, luxury and performance cannot be beat.

Re: Any G35 races lately???

Yes this may be true. But lets not forget the price tag again as noted. The funny thing is ... sure go out and spend the money on mods for the G to not equal but to come close to the price of these other cars and then we'll see who gets raped. Also, lets remember these cars are amazing peices of mechanical engineering for the money and in my opinion, are the biggest longest lasting, extremely well made bangs for the buck as of yet produced. HMMM ... isn't that why they have now won car of the YEAR!!!???

Just don't race a new Neon SRT. That's what you call bang for your buck.

LOL, ok if you want to go there. I raped a SVT mustang, M3, Viper and many other cars. On my gixxer 750. I just let them pull away a little, then make them feel like they're standing still. It's nice to pass them on one wheel too.

the Neon SRT-4 is as fast as the G35 coupe, almost. But at $19000 its a steal...except..ITS A NEON
