current coupe owner, considering sedan

i have '03 CB coupe right now, and thinking about selling this to my brother whos been drooling over this car for quite long time now. this is not going to be easy to let my car go... its an awesome car. its just.. there are many places i cannot go bc my car: dropped + exhaust mods = low clearance

i drive more than average people bc of my job, (almost 2000mi a month, i think,) and i think i will be pretty happy with '05 sedan. i really like the interior upgrade, (my coupe is rare cloth seats.) and i love the new body styling!!! (ironically it looks good bc it now looks like the coupe. hehehe.)

should i trade? or should i not? i need some opinions, plz.

I'd wait and take a look at the IS350.

i personally love lexus, but for luxury only. it's very very far from being sporty. i would rather get an used LS 430, or IS300 (to get FI, eventually) if i had to pick a lexus. also, plz note that i put years of the cars compared. obviously IS350 is out of my budget. dont tell me to get IS250 now!!! lol

If it's your brother, i'd do the sale... if you miss your car, you can always ask him
to bring it by for a quick spin. if a car's holding you down to do the necessities
you need to do, replace it with something more practical or consider a 2nd car.

Get the sedan! You'll appreciate seeing the corners when you turn and being able to park without all the blind spots.

I've actually grown quite accustomed to the look of the sedan now as well. It's very comparable to the coupe. It'd be a great first choice if considering getting a sedan.

Going from the G-Coupe to the G-Sedan would be a great move and much more practical for you.
You'll love the G-Sedan, I know I did.

I drove my friends sedan not to long ago-- It was an '03 sedan. I'm very unknowledgeable in the sedan area. The pick up felt about the same, the tiptronic was different, but fine. When your inside you really can't tell that your not in a coupe. However I was high disapointed with how the handling felt. The coupe felt like it was ready for action-- the sedan felt more like a...sedan...

I'd grab another coupe- If you want to lower, lower small on big rims-- and go with a not so low exaust?

It sounds like you just want the sedan for ground clearance reasons... I don't understand. Why not go back to stock exhaust and wheels to get the stock ground clearance back. I've owned both a G35 sedan and coupe, and in stock form the ground clearance in comparable. I've never had a driveway/entrance I couldn't go on.

I also like the look of the 05 sedan, but I wouldn't get the sedan unless you really need the extra seating and trunk space. Otherwise, what's the point?

24K miles a year put on to the ODO?

Get a beater. Not a lexus, Infiniti or any other luxury vehicle. Just a nice, comfortable beater than can be used for other tasks around the house. For example, a Tundra.
