lol u guys are bastards .... dont drop it in N and rev it to redline ... and put it in D .. it will **** ur transmission up. if u want to burn out ..... turn ur VDC off ... hold ur break ... and step on the gas.... good luck and take videos
u guys are too much
uhhh ok let me try that...
I jsut meant that if I mash the pedal from a stop will the tires spin and will it hard the trans? I use to do it with my old prelude but it didnt have the power of the g.

Our AT first gear is pretty weak. You can floor it and not burn out. Your tires may chirp a bit especially if you are at an intersection b/c you are going slightly uphill. It just didn't give me the feel I wanted so I went FI. Now...first gear is much more fun. So is 2nd, 3rd, 4th....well...you get the idea
Its really not the best idea to ever do a full burn-out, it only will put massive wear on your tires (costs around $200 a tire for pilots) and it will wear on your tranny.
If you just mash the pedal from a stop, the tires shouldn't spin unless you have crappy tires or if its slippery. You can even brake torque it to a point and not spin the tires. As long as you keep the RPM's under control you should be fine; do a search on brake torquing and you will find more info.

while you're doing that...go on the freeway and then shift the car into reverse I've always wanted to try this. Video tape it, and then go to the dealer and say..."Could this have caused the damage?"

I've done burnouts in sedan loaners. Press the brake (not spelled break, you idiots) hard and push down the gas. I think it revs to 2500 and holds there, then just release the brake and modulate the gas pedal to keep the revs up. Turn the wheel for even more fun!
DO NOT do the Neutral to Drive thing.

neutral drop your car and it will DIE! DONT DO ITTT. The potenzas are also really expensive if u have the 19s so mayb u shud jus make up that somethings wrong with the car, get a rental, and follow P Diddy's lead.

and you dont think this will **** up your trans?
All of this BS and not a single person with the simple solution. Remember, easiest fixes/solutions first before trying anything else!
In this case, just get the pavement a little wet ahead of the rear tires and punch the gas or go find some really smooth/slick asphalt surface.
But I don't think he's really looking to boil those Pilots off just yet. He just wants to do a little exhibition. The water method is your friend!
Or take her into a big, empty parking lot (watch those light poles
) and start going in a circle in 2nd gear (for you single-footers, just punch it). Tighten your circle and as the revs start to climb you'll swing that *** around. I spent mile #600 going sideways like this. Kept the tail way out for just over half that circle/skidpad, without much effort at all. The car handles great while sliding, even with the OEM suspension.
Now, be nice to those tires!
