I just hit the 1500 mile mark and the "Maintenance Engine Soon" lighted up? can somone please tell me what it is? i have no mods on my car, Thanks

 

You should be able to take it to the dealership and will check it under warranty, or you could try to reset the ECU (do a search for the pedal method or leave your battery unplugged overnight) and see if the light comes back. If it doesn't come on again, you should be OK, but if it does come on, there is probably something wrong...most likely emissions related.

Did you just fill up the tank? A loose gas cap can also trigger the MIL lamp. If it is the cap, tighten it. After a few drives, it should shut itself off. Take it in just to be safe though. They can tell you for sure what it is.

 

you should def take it in to find out what the trouble code is. If there is a problem you need to get a record of it with the dealership. It is prob something minor, like the gas cap.....there are hundreds of codes that trigger the light.

 

Take it in; its not like they will charge you; if something is wrong it needs to be fixed.
