Remote Start, true?
Yeah, it's purely for convenience's sake. As opposed to sitting in your car waiting for it to warm up in -20deg Celsius weather you just start it up remotely while you're walking to it when you get off work or something. I guess this is more relevant in Canada.
Thats not true Compustar has a built in feature that is made for manual cars. If a shop tells you they cant install it then they do not know what they are doing, it took my guy in Brooklyn, NY 3.5 hours to put it in and he is the one that recommended the alarm because it was for a manual car.
i have one, and its for more show than anything. Now that its getting towards winter i find more use during the wee morning hrs when its freezing outside. I hate having to sit in the car and waiting for it to warm up.
I still think the remote start is cool. I dont see many around my way so i get the "how the hell he do that? " look when i go to get in my car
