Well, this is weird. This morning on the way to work as I was driving and listening to 1010Wins (local news radio station) I heard two or three long beeps coming from the dash area of the car. I glanced over at the dash and saw an orange warning light come on that looks like this (_!_). Its located right next to unfastened seatbelt light in the dash. I think it could be deflated tire warning light but not sure. Anybody know what gives ??? TIA

 

its your tire-pressure indicator light
most likely due to the change in temperatures outside
but just give your tires a quick pressure test make sure the levels are where they should be

the light should be gone @ ur next start up

 

Mine just gives a continuous loud tone for about 10 seconds, it doesn't beep.

I got it too yesterday night... I guess it is that time when it starts to be cold...

 

don't just think it's the weather.. i thought the same as you guys (it's just the cold affecting the tires), but it the three times that it showed up, it ended up being 1) a nail 2) just weather 3) tire defect(had to get the tire replaced).. i'd just go fill it up again and if it happens again, you should just get it checked out by a tire place/dealership..

 

Check your tire pressure. It's important to drive on properly inflated tires ESPECIALLLY WHEN YOU PUSH IT.

 

The (_!_) icon means its time to change your underwear. Its usually an infallible indicator.
