clutch install?

hey everyone..how much does a clutch install cost in NY?or surrounding areas?meaning parts and labor for a stock clutch?unless an aftermarket clutch and labor is cheaper?

any brand of clutches i should be looking for?

also the clutch is only deemed bad when the gears slip right?

you're looking at a couple hundred (may exceed $200 easily). i think you should get an aftermarket stage 2 if your car is stock/fairly stock/slightly modded (minus forced ind). our oem clutch is okay, but after you drive an aftermarket one, you'll never go back.

when upgrading clutches, you have to remember that there will be noises (e.g. clutch chatter, etc.) which are perfectly normal.

I would go after market clutch, you're flywheel will have to be resurfaced(if you're not replacing).

Labor will be close to 300-400
