I also keep a spreadsheet for my G, an 05 that I've had since May. I had good mileage during break in, then a big dip . Normally my commute is short, but I've been doing more highway driving lately, and my mpg is up to 22-23. Overally I'm averaging 19.15 over 4000 miles... We'll see if the K&N and Z tube makes a difference!

According to the fuel econ calculator on my nav, I'm at 18.5 so far (1400 miles on the car). Meh. Not real good, but not atrocious, either.

Well believe me I pick my battles...Just sometimes you can only dip so often and hard depending on traffic and congestion....I let her step out sideways and leave stripes and enjoy the sound of the car at WOT....BUT with that being said I also enjoy just cruising sometimes and not using huge amounts of gas...

I wouldn't rely too much on the nav they are normally off by at least 1-2 mpg. The only real way to track mpg is to take the number of miles divided by the ACTUAL fuel put in the car.

[QUOTE=Beowulf]The G gets good gas mileage for a sports car. What car with 280hp are you going to get thats going to be better?

2006 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe V8 400HP. 18/28 mpg.

20 mpg....and that's driving pretty hard. Why buy a car like this is you can't enjoy it? I'd even take 15 mpg for 100 more hp.
