38 a day to and from work. a little over 2 hours worth of driving. If I do this for rest of my life, I'm wasting 8% of my life driving. Unfortunately, even tho I love my G, LA traffic is not a joy to drive.

4 miles to work
4 miles back
130 miles to chicago every friday
130 miles back to madison every sunday
and about another 100 or so during the weekend
---
so about 400 total per week ... even though its been more like 500

anyway i put 9K on the car for 3 months ... I haven't driven it in 2 weeks now though ... it is peacefully resting in the garage due to bad break pads and need for new tires

1.5 each way to work... ...but I try to put at least 15-20 miles on it. Sometimes you just have to take a drive for the car's own good.
