new 05 Clutch Squeak
Please don't bash me for asking about this.
I know it's been covered before and I did do a search and viewed the threads. But it is still unclear to me whether a sqeaky clutch indicates mechanical failure/deterioration, user mistake, or harmless annoyance.
After only about 250 miles did my clutch start to "squeek" Happens a lot now especially after warming up the car, but doesn't happen all the time, only periodically. I haven't adjusted the clutch at all. I'm not experiencing any grinding or slipping and aotherwise the car runs great.
Could there really not be enough clutch fluid or similar deficiency on a car that only has 300 miles on it? I'm concerned cuz I'm in the break-in period and I don't want to mess up my G. Any input would be appreciated.

Squeek? I know there is "whine" noise around 2000-3500 rpm. When you rev to about 2000-3500 and step on the clutch pedal, you will here this "whine" or wind noise. Sounds kinda odd to me but I hear it is normal. Is this the squeek you are refering to? I first thought it was something that can be fixed from the dealer but other members here said it is normal. *shrugs*. It is a little annoying but if you turn on your music, you won't really hear it or shift after 3500 (which you will, after the break-in period, trust me ). I heard it during my break-in period as well but since I'm at 3200 miles, I don't really notice it anymore (maybe I got use to it ).

Thanks for the reply. The squeek I am hearing actually isn't the sound when you let out the revs at 3-4k
My clutch will actually "squeek" when I first turn the car on when I depress the cluch and the engine is not revved. The clutch will again squeek when I put it into 1st gear before moving. It actually doesn't squeek that much when upshifting or when revved. any thoughts?
