The Infamous Clicking?

I have noticed now that my rear suspension seems to squeek. When I get in the car in the garage it does it, if I move around alot inside the car while its in the garage I can hear the rear suspension squeek. Is this the clicking noise from the rear everyone is talking bout? I havent heard it driving at all, but I usually have my music on.

How long of a fix is this usually for the dealer? Thanks
-Mike

no, that's not the clicking noise from what i understand. the clicking noise refers to a bad wheel bearing. but let me ask u this... do u have your parking brake up when u hear the squeaks? whenever i park my car in the garage i put my parking brake up. when i exit the vehicle i sometimes hear a squeak due to the car shifting a bit from the parking brake. i usually hear the squeak from the rear driver's side.

Brake

It also seems to me like a parking brake. It's normal. The clicking noise people have issues with is when you stopped and then start driving. I wouldn't worry about your squeaks.

Check Axels

The clicking noise that you hear might be the axel. If it is, the stealer can fix it in under a couple of hours. I had that problem on an 05. Clicking sound when the car shifts weight going back and forth. Good luck. it should be covered under warranty though.

Thanks for the replies. Yes it seems to only happen when the parking brake is up. That eases my mind a little bit. Alright, thanks a lot guys.

hey i ve a 05 g35 6mt coupe. i seem to have the same problem but i also hear some kind of clicking noise whenever i hit 2000 rpm. sometime it continues from 2000 to 3000 rpms. i took it the dealer they said it was because of a loose under cover, but now the noise has returned. i was thinking they were jerking me cuz why would the undercover make noise only at that specific rpm points and on acceleration and decceleration.

Ya that sounds like BS to me, they just didnt want to deal with it. Bring it back and make them deal with it.
