Possibly Switching from 2000 Lightning into a G35

Looking at jumping into a G35 6MT. The G35 is a bit slower then my truck full second slower. What do you guys think of this?

Do you have a bunch of mods done to your truck? Cuz I don't think it's a full second slower stock. But even besides that, I don't even think there's a comparison. The G is a luxury coupe and the lightning is a friggin muscletruck.

Hey, what do you know... I sold my 2000 Lightning for a G35C about 4 months ago! FWIW, my Lightning was lightly modded (filter, chip, shiftkit) would destroy the G35C in a drag race and certainly hauls a lot more stuff in the back. OTOH, while the Lightning probably is one of the best handling/riding truck ever made, it doesn't even begin to compare to how the G35C handles. Bottom line, it all depends on what you are looking for. FWIW, I still plans on getting a Gen III Lightning as long as they don't have all the little problems that goes with the current trucks (plugs blowing out, oil in intake, fit/finish etc.)
