test drove 2006 g35c 6mt

got a call from my sales this morning and he told me 06 is here for test drive, so i went there.
got to the dealer and see 06 sitting there, the new front looks the same for me not too much of a different, rear trunk buttom is great, projector bi xenon it's really nice !

and as most of you guys with 05 would know the stupid howling noise when rev to 5-6k rpm, also the chatter feeling in first gear.
on the 06 there is no more chatter when taking off on first gear, clutch is so smooth(just little bit heavier compare to 05 but just so little)
it still has howling noise at 5-7k rpm, but it's not even half loud as my 05 also i dont feel the vibrate when i press the clutch at 6k rpm. i think nissan did something on the clutch/trans on the 06. and for some strange reason it feel pulls hard then my 05(i thought both are the same hp and tq could be the clutch ??)
bluetooth are the thing makes me really want it, it's also voice command too, memory seats nah i can live without it not a big deal.

Pulls harder than your 05? All else equal, your 05 should pull harder simply because it's been broken in already (I assume). VQ engines need a good 10k miles before they can perform their best.

There's an updated Neuron Capacitor mounted behind the glove box, as well. Sweeet!

not for nav but for phone you can simply press the button and say "dial" then say the phone No. ..etc

My clutch felt like a champ when I test drove her. Certainly no complaints. It wasn't until a thousand miles or so that I started to notice the chatter. I'm pretty good with getting around it by now though.

What's this about the trunk bottom?

I am pretty sure you can use voice command to not only use the phone but also the nav, climate and radio like in the M ( atleast it should since its already out on the M)

I saw the tail lights on the 06's and didn't like them. This is the reason I bought an 05 (has 600 miles on it). The LED tail lights to me are like the clock. It's a trade mark thing. It seems that with the 06's they tried to make the LED's not so bright. it looks like they put a piece of plastic over the LED's that acts as a diffusser. From a distance it has the same looks, but up close its all blurry looking. just my 2 cents.

gettaluvr, did you notice anything about the exhaust note? Louder? Quieter? The same? I heard somewhere that the exhaust is quieter? What do you think?
