Anyone got/want Stainless Steel Brake Lines on their G35 Coupe?
Anyone got/want Stainless Steel Brake Lines on their G35 Coupe?
I'm installing a set on my Sedan this weekend. I've had them on previous cars and have enjoyed the improvement in brake feel. I never hear/see about it here so I'm curious what the interest is.
I actually have a couple sets right now, I bought one set for my buddy but realized the Brembo Coupes need different lines.
I got a hook-up on price so I'll probably try selling some later, once I become a premier member.
So for now, how many people have the lines and what do you think about them? Has anyone else thought about it?

I've definately thought about them, I just haven' gotten to that point yet. I figured that when I'm due for brake service I'll upgrade the lines and pads. The brakes feel good now, but a tad more firmness in the pedal and a hint of more bite round out the system nicely.
What brand did you get? And please... ...post a follow-up review after installation.

Will do, they're Techna-fits.
It's weird, on most other car forums it's a pretty common mod and one that's done pretty early. I guess over here people's cars are relatively new so they haven't thought about it yet. Waiting for your pads to go saves you a few dollars in saving some brake fluid but I'm just going to do the new lines on my existing pads.

i had done the SS lines, Axxis pads, and ATE brake fluid on my wrx and noticed quite an improvement in stopping and pedal feel. my '05 g brakes feel better right out of the box, so i'll probably leave them alone.
i have s.s. braided lines
I have those lines in my car with brembos and i also upgraded the discs to brembos cross drilled rotors and motul brake fluid and the brake improvement is well noticed. If want to really prove it, go with your car at @ 80 mph or more and press the pedal hard, not to lose control, grab yourself well and be sure you have your seat belt on because your going to need it. you will really feel the diference.
