i have the willow, but have seen what your referring to. I don't care for it at all. Dosen't seem to match too well. I have heard nothing about that being changed. Doubt it will be.
The upper interior area you are talking about is the same color on the willow or graphite. It just happens to match with the willow. To me, that was just one more reason to get willow.

YES, I AGREE WITH YOU, IT SHOULD OF BEEN ALL GRAPHITE. I HAVE THE GRAPHITE INTERIOR AND WISH INFINITI HAVE JUST SIMPLY MADE IT ALL GRAPHITE INSIDE. I'M SLOWLY ADJUSTING TO THE TWO TONE.

well at least they could have made the plastic black and just the roof white because it turns white halfway through the car and that just looks stupid

For people who think it would look too dark if it were all black - you guys need to go look at the FX-45. That interior (all black by the way) is the COOLEST thing I've seen in awhile.
p.s. And if not all black, the least Infiniti coud've done was given us Gray instead of Tan.

Are you referring to the headliner?
I have a charcoal interior and my headliner is tan all the way from front to rear...

yah....
especially on the side pillar and the bracket for the seatbelt .... if that was graphite then it would sorta hide in with the seat and the belt
Ohhh well ... I wonder if it is changeable ...

Re: Roof on car from inside
It's funny what people tend to notice, and what they don't.
I never noticed the two-tone effect, and if I did . . .it never bothered me. The tan on the roof and pillars is so light it looks like more like an off-white which I thought was appropriate. All black would have made it too dark and would cast an illusion that the interior was smaller than it is. Other premium car makers also make lighter colored headliners . . .and it works for them.
Funny thing is . . .my wife mentioned to me while riding in the car this weekend . . ."why is the roof tan if the rest of the interior is black?!!" She noticed it enough to protest, but I thought it normal and it didn't bother me at all. Go figure.
