You and I have the same set-up. I store my cell phone on top of the cup holder (door closed). The surface of the said prevents the phone from sliding around. It works quite nicely. I actually placed the phone to the rear of the cup holder lid and place my bluetooth earpiece to the front.

In the mornings when I have a cup of coffee, I store the phone in the forward cup holder (door slid open) and the coffee in the rear.

In the mornings on my way to work, when I get the most calls, I usually have my earpiece on . . . So that I need not constantly reach for my earpiece. You can accomplish the same with an corded earpiece, as well, if so desired.

Bluetooth + ProclipUSA.com = Bliss

I have a powered cradle for my PDA/Phone and it works perfect. I didn't use the double sided tape they included and it stays on just fine. This way I can remove it when needed. I've bought mounts from them for 2 different vehicles for 3 different phones. The mount I bought for a Toyota truck broke because it was kind of wimpy, but the G35 mount is great, I've had it for almost 2 years now.

This photo sucks, but shows the placement at least. Not sure about post 2004, but you can choose from this mount or one that goes overs the Emergency Flasher light on the right side.

Here's a simple and FREE solution. I never wear a belt clip and chances are your phone came with one. I just put the clip on the sun visor and its at a convenient location. Only problem with this is to remember to take it when you leave the car but it snaps on off the clip pretty easily now that I've done it so much.

An alternative is to get a cell phone pouch. Its like a clip concept except you actually just slide it in and out of the cushioned case - that also works really well. I had a belt clip laying around so I used that.

Ummm, interesting topic and one that most of us have to deal with. I haven't seen a suitable holder to fit my needs.

I keep my cel in one of two places.... in the cup holder or sometimes in the ashtray. It's thin enough to fit in there with plenty of room

I do have a 'portable' bluetooth clipped to the sunvisor but I really don't use it all that much.

I place my phone in the ashtray. And if your phone is a little bigger, take the ashtray out and stick it in the ashtray holder.

I put mine in my cup holder. I also put my wallet in there so the phone doesn't fly around.

I have seen a cell phone mount on ebay before. I'm not sure what the name was, but I believe it was Kuda Mount.

I got a $5 A/C vent mount from Walmart. Holds the phone great, but the problem is the weight of the phone makes the vent pivot to the bottom position so the air's always blowing on my leg! I think it's time to step up to bluetooth since my phone's compatible.
