wow.. i would be pissed beyond belief.. the fact that they messed up your car in the first place sucks, but the fact that they tried to cover it up and the method with which they did was just pathetic.. hope you get everything repaired..

good luck..

goddamn valets. if you don't have an 80K+ car, they'll treat your ride like ****. don't ever valet. only tourists valet anyway. LA residents street park, even if you have to walk 10 blocks. lol

I would contact a lawyer. That is negligence on their part and should be liable for some of the damage, even if it they say they aren't. If it is obvious that the valet driver caused the damage as opposed to vandalism while it was parked, you should be able to get money.

I'm with Diddy. That little disclaimer is great to have but it isn't going to do them any good if they damaged your car.

I'd be prepared for them to claim that it must have been hit by another motorist. Luckily, they're pathetic attempt to fix/hide any of the damage strongly suggests that they were directly responsible.

Never valet your car.

Why would I want to pay someone to have them drive my car?

It's just more money making for the restaurant. Especially when you go to some where there's plenty of parking, it'd be easy to park your own car, but they still force you to valet. I refuse to give my business to those establishments.

That is exactly right. Their disclaimer doesn't legally release them from liability. The fact that they physically took possesion of your car from you, makes them liable for any and all damages/losses. I forget the legal term for that, but that's how a lawyer explained it to me once.

.......but please don't forget the language rules here.......
A lot of us have some choice words from time to time, but please don't forget that this is family oriented site, therefore read by many tender young eyes and of course ladies...
TNX for your understanding and best of luck with repairs to the rides.

NEVER VALET BROTHER!!! Hope everything works out well. The super glue is the capper on the story! What a bunch of phu99in idiots!!! I've had similar incidents with people trying to conceal their screwups but never with super glue that takes no less than a full day to set!

That's why they're valets and not financial advisors.
