I highly doubt that dealers will go for a group buy on the new 06. If this was the case i think people would stand outside a dealer and tell other people to come in with them for a purchase. Only way they would probably believe it is if you finance/lease all cars on 1 account, which I doubt most people will go for.

Group buy on cars??? I don't think dealers will have any problems selling their G's for MSRP, or higher. Good luck with that.

If you end up in the Los Angeles area, we could try and work out a group buy. I think we'd need at least 3 or 4 people that are ready to buy.

Dude, we just did a group buy with 4 guys in Houston for 2% over invoice, and the cars aren't even on the lot. It can be done. Just shop around a bit.

Hell, if they aren't gonna budge in Cali, call up North Houston Infiniti and have them ship to you... it'll still be significantly lower than MRSP.

Edit: Crap.. forgot about Cali emissions and all the legal stuff behind that. It might be more trouble shipping it in afterall. But my point still stands... group buys can be attractive for a single salesman to make multiple sales in one day. You just have to find the right guy.

Well like DR6 said, we just finished a group buy with prices from 500-700$ over invoice on 3 AT/1 MT 2006 coupes, so you are completely wrong there. Also I think you can specify cali emissions on any car, esp if they are factory ordered so it shouldnt be a problem where you get your car.

rm94quake: If you want some details of our group buy pm me and Ill help you out with whatever info I have and if you have about 4 people then I could probably try and get you a good deal.

I'll be in the market for a 06 G35c but probably not until Dec/Jan. But if we have to order and will only have to put a small deposit for the time being it might work out for me.

And I'm in So Cal (Burbank, CA). I think $500-$700 over invoice is good. I'm in no rush so I can wait until dealers get more cars on the lot so I can get a better.

I tried to get a group buy in Va and they shot it down. So I had to buy at MSRP.

Quote: I just got finished locking a deal down for a fully loaded 06' at $500 over invoice. Plus, they're giving me free lifetime oil changes.
Please list dealership name and location.

Well, Im one of the guys in with that group buy with tomcatm and dR6, so yeah it can be done. If the dealers dont bite on a group buy with at least 4 cars.....they are dumb
