Whats so hard to believe? Some people do actually have that type of 'extra' cash. Lighten up man...and be more opened minded, that was a really ignorant comment. I don't think anyone here is out to 'look cool' or look like a baller (except maybe JTrain ), but to each his own.

With that said, come over and I'll show you the title if you don't believe.

Mine is not paid off, but by choice. I'd rather pay monthly payments and keep my money in the bank. If I die tomorrow what good will a paid off car do for my wife and kids? As if dealing with the loss of a husband/father isn't enough. let me leave her with a car she has to sell to get money back. Just my $0.02.

paid for my 2005 6mt with a personal check for the entire amount the day i picked up the car. I was surprised they would let me take the car when paying with a personal check on a saturday. I guess I have a honest face.

What's so uptight about my post? Every one is entitled to their own opinion. From what I have seen their a lot of BS on these car forums. again just my opinion.

I finaced my car to hit my credit report and then paid it off in 3 months. My credit score went up by doing this. Got to love driving a car that is completely yours!

The only car I've made payments on was my first one 30 years ago and that was only for a year.

Doesn't make sense...so your saying if you die with a car unpaid, that you are relieving her of stress and the dealer is just gonna forget about his money?

Assuming it's a finance and not a lease, that car's gotta get paid off. Period. And that means she'll STILL have to sell it to get the money to pay off your loans.

But ofcourse if you mean they'll have to seize it, then I guess thats no burden on her....unless you had her co-sign ofcourse, then you just damaged her credit, majorly. And everyone is entitled to thier opinion, that I can agree on and respect

I paid in full, so no payments. Thank goodness. Now that the GTR's scheduled to arrive, that may change. I'll probably wait till 2008 or 09 (the 2nd /3rd year of production) to get the GTR when they've fixed up most of the major complaints.

By the way, is that GTR going to be a 2 or 4 seater?
