I went to check out a 350 last weekend. Anybody else think the driver side window/lock controls are messed up? Very awkwardly placed with that damn door handle blocking it.

The IS350 has a tiny interior, It felt much smaller than the G35C in the front seat. Besides the rear headroom, I think the G35C is a more comfortable car to sit in. Still, the IS has a better ride, nicer interior and better electronics. If you want a more luxurious car, I would opt for the IS350. However, for driving pleasure and performance, I would go for the G or wait for the manual IS350.

4 door lexus vs 4 door G, I like the lexus more, but 2 door G looks better. Lexus might have better interior, but exterior isnt as nice as our G's.

I have to admit that the lexus is a pretty sweet looking car, but I remember there being a post on this forum a week or two ago. They were talking about how the lexus' stability control system is very intrusive and there's no way to turn it off. fit and finish, our Gs are nice, but not as nice as a Lexus' (or Acura even) but I'd suggest taking it out for a test drive again and seeing how it handles compared to the G.

happy shopping

A base IS350 is $36030 (It's really $38540 because they requre you to get one of the packages. The cheapest package is $2510.).
A base G35 is $31950.
That's a difference of $4080, or realistically, $6590 (the difference between the cheapest G35 and the cheapest IS350)

A loaded IS350 with the Luxury package runs $43,589.
A loaded G35 (Premium, Sport Pkg, Nav, splash, TM) runs $38,050.
That's a $5539 difference.

Haven't driven one yet, but from write ups I've seen so far....
They've moved the new IS more towards main stream Lexus (luxo perf)
& less of a drivers car that the old IS was.

That said they will sell a ton of these.....
