6sp center armrest update from Infiniti

I put a call in to Infiniti early this week and they got back to me 10 minutes ago. I questioned the discrepancy in regards to the armrest shown in the photos for the 6 speed.
She had informed me that there WILL be an armrest coming out for the 6 speed. She did not have a date on when this would happen.
I asked her to go back to her contact and ask if you already own a 6 sp if the part would be an option and or interchangeable option. I'll keep you posted.
I'm not picking my car up until early March - We'll see...

No pedals, no armrest, no seat memory.
My contact at Infiniti got back to me yesterday, again. She stressed that tentatively all 6 speed G35 coupes produced in February will have a center armrest. So coupes hitting the streets in March or April may or may nor have the armrest in question. Meanwhile I'm looking at the G coupe brochure and there's a large photo of an armrest in a 6 speed. Only time will tell.

I don't think there is any picture of a armrest. What looks like one is the left side of the passenger seat. I assume you are looking at the fold out picture with the graphite interior. Look at it very close and compare the stitching and seams to the drivers seat, and if that was a armrest then where is the rest of the passenger seat.

Is it only the 6MT cars that don't have an arm rest currently? Do the automatics all have arm rests? I never really noticed when inside the cars I looked at.

Auto's have them, yes. In reference to the 6 speed, that is an armrest, confirmed by Infiniti. And again, there will be an armrest offered in future G coupes - Sometime in March, April or May.

I agree with wayne. That's the left side of the passenger seat. Look at the stitching, it matches the right side of the driver's seat.

I just posted about this in the "I'm confused" topic. It outlines my correspondence with Infiniti consumer affairs.
