I had to scrape the bottom of the front air dam today on a road with construction. The clear film that came new with the car got shredded and it looks awful. While there's some scraping of paint, it doesn't come close to the mess of the film.
What I'd like to do is remove the film, clean it up, and have new film on there since it was doing a good job protecting from small rocks and things. Is there any problem with just pulling off the film? Is there an easy way to do it? And is the replacement something I can do or should I go to a shop that does it?
