Credit score needed for tier one interest rates?
Just curious if anyone knows what sort of credit score IFC (or other lenders) need for thier best interest rates.
I just checked transunion and I have a 796...I filed a few disputes for minor incorrect items and hopefully I can nudge that score up to an 800....

each credit bureau has it own scoring system. But the most common scoring system is the FICO score. Please note that Experian, Equifax or Transunion have their own scoring system and FICO score is independence of the tree bureau mention above. The score is determine by how much you owe vs how much you make. Other factor include is/are late payment, BK, collection, etc.
A good score is 690 or above (FICO). But now and day, most bank decide to increase that to 730. Still if you have 690 or above, you should be in tier 1.

Well, I'm certainly no millionair! I recently refinanced my mortgage and the new lender has not appeared on my report yet so perhaps that's making my dept to income look more favorable that it really is.
BTW...a perfect score on trans-union is 934.
So where do you get this FICO score?
