Rear Clicking / Racheting Noise SOLUTION
Rear Clicking / Racheting Noise SOLUTION
Hey Guys:
For everyone who is experiencing the clicking / racheting noise on acceleration from a stop, I have a likely solution. I was down at my dealer today to get service for the window and brake light TSBs and also mentioned this problem to the Service Manager. I had thier tech ride in the car with me. Turns out that the right rear axle nut was not tight. Once it was re-torqued, no more clicking so far.
I also got the titanium trim pedal kit put in. This looks good and should have been standard with the Sport Package. Matches the trim on the door and console exactly.

Re: Rear Clicking / Racheting Noise SOLUTION
Yeah, its a loose nut that holds the rear halfshaft into the hub. I am hoping that this doesn't lead to a premature wear issue down the road, they claim it won't (of course) but I wonder.

Precisely why Infiniti should give and recommend a free service check-up at 1000 miles, like Lexus did with my RX330.
