Clicking Noise from the Rear Transaxle

I just starrted hearing a metal clicking noise from the rear, sounds like from the transaxle area possibly. Or could even be the wheel bearings a I guess, anyone else have this problem? Happens only in first or second gear as far as I know when the car first starts moving. I have an 05 6mt coupe

it is your rear axle. bring it to the dealer. it is a common tsb, they'll fix it for free.

did a search and came up with the following threads....

Just take your car in. I took mine in for the same issue(s) and am waiting for the proper bolts to come in. I was told by my service tech that quite a few cars have been brought it for this issue.

Here is the TSB . . .

Good luck!
