05 coupe 6mt (brembos possible)

theres a junk yark near my house that has an 03 Coupe, and the owner says he'll sell me the brembo calipers (4) and the rotors (4) for a grand and i was wondering is the transfer relatively painless to an 05 coupe or do i need to do some modifications before the brembos will fit.

Yep, a steal is an understatement - Go for it. The transformation is very straight forward. Your only problem may be the dust shields for the rears, they may need to be cut. Otherwise, from all that I've read, a piece of cake.

you will need to cut the rear dust shield, I would get a pair of tin snips
just the lip that curls over the rear rotors neds to be cut, and make sure you get the two rear attachment bolts with each of the rear calipers because they match the threading on the rear calipers, the ones from your 05 will not work

I did this change a month ago and it was a pain in the a$$ but well worth the sweat when it's finished, you will be glad you did it.

yeah.. $1k is pretty good.. even if you need to get new pads/rotors, it's still a steal.. some people are selling their used kits for $1800.. nice find..

and the transfer is painless..
