you want another suggestion,

call your local tv station ... sometimes they do reports to help out consumers. This will be an awesome thing for them to go and battle such a huge car manf. who knows you might get somewhere that way.

I just realized you are in NY.... we have FOX5 UPN and CBS 2 and a few others that do these reports, i'm telling you try them all, may be one of them will do the story and you will see how fast things will move once MEDIA and bad publicity get involved.

If i was you i would have been pissed the second time it happened. And asked for another car.
+1.

Tell the dealer that you want a new ride NOW.....no arguements.
If he doesn't compy, initiate proceedings to have it lemon lawed.

I sent an email to UPN9, WB11, FOX5 and forgot about CBS2 until you suggested it. No replies from either so far

Did speak to the dealer about it but they're stuck on repairing a car they couldn't repair 3 times previously.

They just will not budge. Seems like the only way i'll get a new car is to file for the lemon law which will take forever.

I can't file for the lemon law yet because its failed 4 times... but hasn't been repaired 4 times. I need to get the car repaired (they're repairing it right now) and have it fail on me again before I actually have a case.

Lemon that sucker! Oh wait. Repair that sucker! Then have them fix it the four times that it will break again. Then Lemon Law it!
