If you HAVE to spend the $1000.

Get:

The intake (Stillen or Pop Charger with Z-tube.....don't do cold-air intake)
&
Motordyne 1/2" spacer with Iso Thermal gasket

That's where I would start.

Eighteen, eh? Whats wrong with saving some of that money, if not all of it? Hmmm . . . If you take home 1k per week, I would say spend some of it . . . If not . . . Well . . . I am sure you will do is is best for you.

Invest your money, or add a few mods, or blow it all at a strip club. Man, that's a tough decision - to be 18 with $1k

heh surprisingly 98% of the time, I will not go over 5mph the speed limit. [esp. in the last 6 months or so]

its just not worth it..
I'm going to a race track with a race car. I'll go fast then.

wise beyond years...

spend it... you may not turn 19.
what's wrong with motordyne and maybe high flow cats?
you still may have enough for a z-tube with k&n panel.

You seem to be somewhat spoiled to be driving a G at 18. Your family must have some money. This is my advise...

If you do well in school and you know you will probably be successful in the future, go ahead and spend the money. If not, save it.

If you live off your parents like most rich kids, stop that. Do it yourself. Make something of yourself on your own. Earn things on your own. Life will be much more rewarding.

The only thing my parents ever paid for me was my education. At the age of 24 I bought my own G. I'm glad they didn't hand **** over and made me work hard for things.

I may be wrong about you, but if the shoe fits.
