Unhappy How can I test tire pressure sensors b4 selling them?

I have 4 tire pressure sensors that I took off of the 18" 2004 coupe wheels that I bought for my 2003 coupe. The seller says they were working when he sold them. Does anyone know an easy way for me to make sure they're working before I try to sell them? If not, could the dealer check them?

(Yep, I did a search. Found lots of threads talking about "low tire pressure" signals, and found the service bulletins about registering the sensors and activating them, but nothing about how to test if one is working.)

I had them taken off the wheels 3 days ago. Are there batteries are something that will run down if they keep transmitting? I want to try to sell them with my 17" wheels and tires, so I need to try something quick.

I thought about trying to find someone with a 2004/2005 coupe and see if it would get a "low pressure" signal from my sensors, but the threads make it seem like the car won't pick up signals from any other sensors.

Any help?

Thanks everyone.

There's no need to check them. As long as they are in once peice they work.

Not too sure on what the scoop is on them (I wish I did because I have them on my M) but from what I understand, the sensors have to be "initialized" by the dealer on their installation to make them work.
You might want to talk to the dealer about them since your buyer will need that info too.
If you do find out any more info on them, I'd like to hear about it if you'd post.
