driveway too steep- any solutions??
Hey guys,
my car is dropped on eibachs and now i just purchased a veilside lip from a member on here.
my driveway is way to steep. and im going to scratch my veilside lip everything i go up and down my driveway. has anyone had this problem before? Any creative solutions?
i was thinking of some wooden boards...what does everyone else think.

subscribed! i have the same problem! And before you guys mention "going in an angle" or whatever else you can do, the problem with mine is I can only go scraight on into the driveway to avoid curbing my rims which i've already done. Go give a creative illustration, this is my driveway: ||_______|| the two bars represent a curb and the distance between the two is just enough for the car to go through, so going up in an angle will not work. I decided to try using the board idea and to just put them up when I leave in the morning and put them up when i park my car in at night. Here I thought it would be easier if I provided some pics
Too bad its night time but the pics seem to be clear enough. Any ideas would be great. If I back into the driveway, it scratches even worse for somer eason.

this is a picture to see how steep it is. Fortunately for me, the only thing that scratches is the plastic layer on the bottom and not the actual lip. However, if I get a lip in the future it will scratch. I had the fuji exhaust awhile back and the tips would hit everytime I go up, which is why I sold it. I still want to get a new exhaust so i'm trying to think of an idea to do this. Repaving is NOT an option because it is not my house and I cannot do anything permanent like that. Also, I cannot leave my car parked on the streets because it will get ticketed. Any clever ideas? So far i've got the idea to get 2 seperate boards to put on both ends of the driveway, kind of like making a bridge between the two ends of the dip and to just use those everytime I go in and out. Is there another way?

that actually looks like a good idea. You said you bought 6 of them? Do you really need that many? I was thinking more like 2, 1 for each side of the driveway, but even that, is an expensive way to do this. According to the site, they're 10x72x2. That is pretty long isnt it? Why do you need so many? got any pics?
