No idea. I can handle the yellow, but the painted grill... ... >.<

And the loss of the airbag would really hurt the cost, I would think. Sort of shows that anything would be done for style by the previous owner. That's not a reasurring thing when buying a used car.

Ah yes, he's from chicago. I know he's a member of one of these "G" forums but I don't remember which. Maybe he's at www.chicagoz.com

Under warranty? Well def not the airbag warranty...and if insurance finds out...there goes his premium not to mention they are not entitled to pay for any injuries if they think the airbag would have helped...

I just don't get some people...this isn't a race car, its still driven on the streets so drop the "coolness" factor mang...its your life here!

You can also get a ticket for the removal of the airbag-equiped steering wheel. Did I mention the crushed face if you're in an accident? That's a real chick magnet.

I do like the way most of the car looks.

Yeh, it does look good. But after seeing my mothers face after she bent the steering wheel with it during an accident about 15 years ago, I'd never willingly pull the airbag-equiped steering wheel. She lost her nose (completely rebuilt after being pulverized flat), busted out a lot of teeth (all replaced), nearly had her top lip cut completely off by her own teeth, busted her sinus cavities all up, etc. The seat belt slipped off her shoulder, which does happen. An airbag would have been extremely beneficial.

But like I said, that MOMO wheel does look cool.

actually my airbags were stolen over a year ago along with the steering wheel. on my bodyshops property. my Insurance would not pay for it becuase it was on the bodyshops property. nor would the body shop pay for it. Nothing but a big headache. so insted of spending (at the time) 3500 for a new wheel and two new airbags i put the Momo wheel in. Sorry to all you know it alls it was not about having a "race car".

i like everything except for the grill, not my cup of tea. the price seems sorta reasonable, but the no airbag thing would be a big issue for me

g35player - That does make sense. $3500 is a big chunk. At least you didn't '...willingly pull the airbag-equiped steering wheel.' Somebody did it for you.

how did you "inlarge" (enlarge) the front bumper? did you shave down part of the lip and the top of the opening?

I agree with Ron. Put it this way, it's what you want to invest in to keep your face in tact...to me, my face is worth more than 3500...so I would've spent it, but honestly would have sued the body shop first.

You couldve always shopped around for people who have willingly modified theirs and were willing to part.

Hosptial bills add up to MUCH more than $3500 if you need constructive surgery...
