11250 isnt anything but an oil change... what are they trying to give you?

The only real service starts at 15,000, and it isnt all that much.

 

yeh, just get a oil change. i don't plan on doing any major inspections until i hit 30k. just check fluids and typical wear items yourself.

 

Does it void your warranty if you don't follow the maintainance plan? I have 8500 miles on my '05 now, but I haven't had service done to my car yet. Just oil change. At what mile should I bring my car in for service?

Well, for my 11,000 mile service i went in for an oil change, and was told i needed 4 new tires ... the guy at the service department was incredibly cool and he told me that he knew was it was like to be 17, and had 2 of the 4 tires "goodwilled" to me. Hopefully i wont go through my second set as quickly.

 

like everybody said its just an oil change and fluid level checks. just done my 11250mi service and i did it myself. not so hard.
