Costs of 15K maintenance, 05 MT6

I am curious at what others have paid for their 15K Maintenance. I have a 05 MT6 Coupe and the dealer has told me that I would need to drop the car off in the morning and pickup in the late afternoon. The cost would be $377.

I will be making a dent in that as I have replaced the air filter with K&N, can do the cabin filter myself, and wipers. The dealer also stated they clean the throttle body and such. I have not gotten a list of items that would be performed but $377 for maintnenace seems excessive on a vehicle with only 15k miles.

3750 and 11250 were $34 each, just oil. I think the 7500 cost me 168 - got caught by that one as I did not ask what they had planned to do.

Dealer is Nalley Infiniti in Marietta Georgia.

I'm not even taking my car in until I hit 30k. All those little things are good but the dealers know peole are concerned about warranty issues. Some people go by the book like you others are like me. I'll keep putting in Mobile 1 and I'll see them at 30k.

Same here, util now I was changing Mobil 1 at Jiffy Lube (10-15 minuntes, including Sundays). Air filter and cabin filter changes are easy and can be done just for the cost of filter. Battery check? tire pressure? why pay? do yourselves and you will know your car better. All "minor" mainenance - self done. At 27k I asked for coolant flush and transmission sevice = about $260. Also, got free brake pads replacement and rotors resurfaced. Car is running great and fuel consumption improved.

Dealer is a ripoff. If you want to save yourself some money, do it yourself. Nothing much to the 15K. I just hit 30k, and I did the engine, tranny, and differential oil change this weekend. Pretty easy to do, especially with the DIYs. Saved some money, plus, I got to put in all synthetic oils. Not sure about the coolant flush though, but my dealer doesn't even include that in their 30k service.

I was just at Fields Infiniti in Illinois, and was told it would cost 250 bucks by the service manager. The 30k checkup is about 450.

Always ask what they are doing for that. Half the stuff you can do yourself for cheaper, or its a bunch of stuff that does not need to be done.

guys ever think about other stuff?

check fluid levels?
new coolant?
brakes? pads? fluid?
filters?
engine oil?
tire pressure?
tranny?
diff?
check hoses?
belts?

just some stuff to look out for.. all of that can be done yourself... some gets kinda messy tho.. also flushes and such can be done at home too..

just some stuff like brakes i'd take to the dealer just because i dont want to go through the hassel of taking off all 4 wheels then taking rotors somewhere to get serviced blahblah

I was quoted at 370$ and now at 15.2k miles. STill havn't decided if I want it done... does anyone know if it voids your warranty if you dont have it done?

No but they get to be snobs about it without the regular ripoff check-ups.
