They look better than anything on the road and driving it is pure joy. I just love the feeling of driving my G. Feels so solid, sounds dope, pretty damn powerful. NOTHING around 40k can even remotely compare and I have driven them all.

But really, go test drive the cars you want to get. That's the only way to really know if you like it.

For me, I like the over package of styling, power, handling, and costs. Yes, there are problems but not any more than other cars.

I wanted something under 40k, fast, good handling, RWD, 6MT, 2 door, some luxury and killer looks. There are only a copule cars that meet most of those criteria ... the only one that meets them all is the G.

positives:
v6, rwd, sexy lines, good warranty coverage.

negatives:
poor materials (i.e. rear trunk liner, dash 'leather'?, etc. for a $50k CDN car).

- from an owner who just hit 500 km (still in break in period )

To buy or not to buy

The G35 (in my case, it's the coupe) was one of those cars that as soon as I saw it, I knew it was what I wanted. It's hard to beat the value of what the car offers. Going for a test drive was a mere after-thought as I was already sold even before I got in the driver's seat.

After owning the G35 for two and a half years now, I still feel as good driving it now as I did the first day I got in the driver's seat.

But then that's just my impression and maybe also alot of the owners here feel the same.
