Yeah, this thread (and alot of the ones that are similar) always end up debating about our cars vs. all others. Oh welll, guess we are very passionate about our cars and get very defensive too
WOW...How quickly G35 wears off on you...just in two months went from this... G35
LOL It's true that I tire of cars quickly. I guess a car to me is a lot like the attractive girls I meet. They are great initially, but after a time you get to see their warts and the luster wares off.
It's always tough going backwards as I did in a car purchase because there's no way a less expensive car will measure up to the more expensive ones. Nevertheless, I'm not unhappy with the G35. It's a good commuter that does a lot of things well, and I don't have to worry about where I park it as I did with my much more expensive Porsche. If things work out as I hope, I'll be back in a Porsche in a couple of months. Even if I do get a Porsche, I'll keep the G35 as my everyday car.
How about this observation: the G35 is a great car for the money.

So my fellow greek you should buy a G35 if you can't afford the m3.
Second you should buy it to rip apart all your friends with GTIs, 325s, 330s, A4s(thats what all your friends probably have).
Finally because what other car mentions "athens" in a color (show your greek pride).
also get the G for pure pleasure of driving, the fun factor (despite mine being AT) is simply amazing when you are in the mood.

Fact is for the price the only BMW competitor there is is the 325. Even the 330 is close to 10k more loaded, and frankly, it's not all that great a car, even if it were $35k. Bringing M3's into the discussion is ludicrous - why not compare the G35 to a Carrera S while we're at it?
Fitment aside, the G35 is overall a more reliable car than any BMW I can find. I'd personally rather deal with rattling mirrors and paint chips than blown ignition coils and transmission issues.
