Question Potenza Rotate?

Can I simply rotate the stock Potenza REO50's from side to side on my coupe? It has the stock 19" wheels.

I looked online and couldn't find whether the Potenza REO50's were directional or not. It showed the other line of Potenza's being directional.

Thanks for the help.

re050a's are not directional, (they're asymmetrical sp?) so they can be rotated

Rotating

I had the same question as the manuel said they were uni-directional. I went to the tire sight like i'm sure you did and likewise could figure if they were uni-directional or not, but I assumed since it didn't say they were uni-directional, they are not.

Anyway, I rotated my front across. I mainly did this as the things are making terrible noise. I'm not sure if they are feathering or cupping (i'm not real smart on tires). It seemed like the tread just on the inner edges was a little taller on one side than the other. Anyway, rotating them seemed to make a little bit of difference, but not as much as I had hoped. Of one note was the lugs (about half) were not torque to 80lbs. or at least they didn't appear to be using a torque wrench.

I've only got 15K on mine, and can't wait to get rid of these tires!! The rears seem to be doing fine, and I really hate to go "halfway around" with new ones on the front.

I've been curiuos if others have had problems with poor tire wear. I'm an '95 Coupe with sport suspension ie. 19's.

why rotate side to side on a staggered performance setup? your tires wore per sus setup..if you rotate it you're going to loose the contact patch you
broken-in the last couple thousands of miles.

i'd leave it with no rotation and just replace the tires when they're done.

This worked great. And it does sound better. Have 12k on the tires and just rotated them last night. Hopefully I'll get another 10. (Wishful thinking?)

I have over 23,000 miles on my Potenza's re92a staggered setup, I have switched them from side ti side, they are wearing well, as for the noise factor
i have to turn down the music to hear anything....
