Just was coming todo some catchup work to the office and saw a black 2006 (could tell from tailights and headlights) with a 2003-2005 rear spoiler. Anyone know if this was an option or maybe he just wanted that spoiler instead.

 

Could probably be an option, you can ask the dealership to put on the older model spoiler instead of the new one.

 

Its not an option in the sense you can order it from the factory. But your dealer, body shop or yourself can install the 05 spoiler on the 06, all the mounting holes are the same according to people who did this.

 

Yeah, I told my dealer the new spoiler was ***, and he said they could swap it out for the old one if I wanted to.
Going to wait and see if the new one grows on me (like some kind of fungus).

 

whats the difference between the 05 and 06 spoilers?

 

the 06 stops at the trunk line, the 05 is the good old ironing board.

it could have been an o5 with o6 rear lights...
