2006 Black/Stone 6MT Pics Inside
What's up everyone. Just picked up my 2006 Black/Stone coupe. Have been reading the forum almost daily for 2 years while I was working in Korea, couldn't wait to get home and get a new ride.
I orginally wanted Athens Blue/Stone, so I went to Santa Barbara Infiniti in August to place my order. First they thought they had one coming in, but turned out to be someone elses order, so I finally get an email 3 weeks ago saying my car was just ordered and would be in by January... Nice... So I was down in LA last week visiting a buddy, stopped by Glendale Infiniti and this bad boy was on the way in so I put down a deposit and came back a few days later and picked it up. Got $1000 off MSRP and pretty happy with that.
I have another week until I start my new job here so I've pretty much just been driving, staring, driving, staring. Still debating how dark to go with tints, I went to the shop last week and they said cops around here are pretty bad with that, so I might just go with 35% all around. I'm not a fan of 2 different levels of tint on the coupe.
Cheers!

Thanks for the compliments. I'm loving this ride. Anyone else fill up the tank when it's 3/4 full just to go to the gas station and get props from other drivers?
Jiwon: Working in Korea is tough, man. I hear it's the hardest place to expat, especially if you're working for a Korean-owned company, which I was, and I can't say I can dispute that claim. It was a great growing experience, but I'm glad to be home.

They actually had a black on black sitting on the lot, but I waited an extra week for the stone to come in. I don't like the black leather so much, and wheat is okay but can't stand that beige steering wheel and dash. But you're absolutely right, whatever floats my boat.
Time for another drive!
