So...Whos a proud Desert Platinum owner!?
Why does infiniti have so many shades of this silvery looking color. They should add more exotic colors to the list, not all this silver crap. They have, Desert Platinum, Diamond Graphite, Brilliant Silver, and Serengeti Sand, and honestly, the only one I truly like is Diamond Graphite.
They don't have exotic colors (bright yellow, bright blue, etc.) b/c this is a luxury car, not an exotic car, not a race car.
The multiple silvers are pretty lame though....
The key demographic for the g35 was more than likely older men wanting a sporty nice car with many amenities.
I know that I'd be a little less fond of the g35s if they came in "super yellow" and "baby blue". Just not my taste.

DP may not be as popular as DG, but I love the way the color shifts from dark silver to goldish in the sun.[/QUOTE]
That's exactly what I thought about DP in 2 years of owning this color. I never thought that someone would think the same way. Hahahahaha
DP rocks, but I wish I got Ivory Pearl. I got DP cuz I needed a car so bad by
the time and only car available was DP. I still love DP thou, it's very unique
color and I dun have to wash as often as White or Black

I love my DP! I think it gets smoky looking in the evening, silver at night and goldish in the sun. My favorite look is during overcast days, though...
I'm having my slotted Brembo rotors and Hawk pads installed today, so I'll be taking new pics sometime next week.
